Celebrating the Beautifully Odd
Coming Together
An independent literary publisher for the curious, the unconventional, and the beautifully odd.
Sparklemuffin & Weaver is an independent literary publishing company celebrating the beautifully odd. We invite you to explore our curated collection of distinctive fiction and nonfiction that delves into mystical, occult, and cultural narratives. Here, curious readers and expressive writers come together through stories that enchant and provoke the imagination.
WE BELIEVE STORIES SHOULD PULL YOU IN.
MYSTICAL
Religion, spirituality, occult traditions, folklore, mythology, and the unexplained.
UNCONVENTIONAL
Ideas, perspectives, experiences, and stories that don't always fit neatly inside the expected. Supporting voices less heard, marginalized communities, normalizing the "non-traditional," fighting cultural erasure, creating visibility, and celebrating what some would see as odd (simply because they haven't been exposed, yet).
LGBTQIA+ & BIPOC owned and opperated
LITERARY
Fiction and nonfiction created with imagination, intelligence, craft, legitimacy, and something worth saying.
Meet Sparklemuffin & Weaver
Two spiders. Two ways of finding a story.
Sparklemuffin is the curious one.
She explores. She notices. She likes the dance of words. She follows the unexpected, and boldly looks for ways to celebrate. She represents the reader; the person who opens a book because something inside it might lead somewhere fascinating.
Weaver creates the web.
Patiently. Deliberately. Thread by thread.
Weaver represents the writer; the person who takes experience, imagination, knowledge, and language and transforms them into something another person can enter.
Coming together, they create a place where stories meet.
