This is where you get practical.

I'd make this a simple checklist:

 

QUERY LETTER

A brief introduction to you and your project.

 

SYNOPSIS

A concise overview of the work.

 

SAMPLE

The portion of your manuscript requested in the current submission guidelines.  Minimum 75 pages required to submit.

 

AUTHOR BIO

Tell us who you are and what you bring to the work. This needs to include your story as to why you are writing this type of work, any training, certifications, and life experience.

 

CONTACT INFORMATION

Your name and preferred email address.

SUBJECT

In the subject of the email put ATTN SUBMISSION: (book title) (Author last name)

BODY:

• Your name and contact information

• Book title

• Genre

• Word count

• A brief query/pitch

• A synopsis

ATTACHMENTS:
Please put everything else as pdf attachments, and you can send multiple emails if they don't all fit in one email.  You will automatically be rejected if you cannot follow our submission guidelines.​

A Few Things To Know

Please submit only work that you have the right to submit.

Please don't send work that is simultaneously under exclusive consideration elsewhere if your agreement prevents that.

We cannot guarantee individual feedback on every submission.
